Itak ilah comes from the word Taqwa, meaning to be mindful of God. It does not constitute fear in any shape or form. A lot of Muslims have this misconception because they fail to study the Arabic language. Hence, there is an ultimate difference between being mindful of God vs being fearful of God. To be mindful is to be conscious, fully aware, and appreciative of all that God is. Being fearful, however, connotes a whole different thing.
Insh’Allah people learn to understand the difference.
When a bird is alive it eats ants, yet when it dies, the ants eat it. Circumstances can change at any time and the tables usually turn over a period of time. Do not oppress, despise or hurt anyone during your lifetime. You may be powerful today but remember, time is more powerful that you! Just like one tree makes a million match sticks, yet when the time comes then only a single match is needed to burn a million trees.
